Karissa Meyer

Karissa Meyer lives and works in her studio in Sioux Falls, SD.  Her artworks are created with a variety of mixed media techniques.  She enjoys layering texture through acrylic mediums and palette knives.  Bright colors, fluid acrylic painting and collage are her newest avenues of expression.  She has always been inspired by a creative imagination and exploring the artistic intuitive possibilities.  Her inspiration is pulled from experiences as a wife to husband Austin and a mother to daughter Helen.  She enjoys a variety of different tools and techniques to express inner dialogue onto canvas or board.  She received a BA at Minnesota State University Moorhead with an emphasis in ceramics, 2007.
